The Midwest Family Health crew had a great time on Saturday, June 13, 2015, during the annual Paradise Creek Festival in Plainville, Kansas.
The day started with a ribbon cutting celebrating the new street that runs right in front of our Plainville pharmacy - we were happy to celebrate this road's construction being completed and open for use. Following the ribbon cutting, the downtown parade kicked off with many entries featuring tractors, horses, and bicycles decorated by the local kids. Midwest Family Health drove their delivery Spark (we offer free, local delivery) through the parade and had team members walking behind throwing out candy to the parade crowd.
Following the parade, activities moved to the city park where there was face painting, turtle racing, inflatable games, and much more!

After a day of fun, Midwest Family Health co-sponsored the free BBQ dinner at the park. The community enjoyed hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, and cookies. Midwest Family Health also handed out koozies and frisbees to the attendees. There was a crowd for the free BBQ and it was great to see the community coming out to support the event and spend time together with neighbors and friends!
As your local pharmacy in downtown Plainville, Kansas, we enjoy the opportunity to be involved in these community events and to get to spend time with our patrons outside of the pharmacy.
We look forward to next year's Paradise Creek Festival!
