CPAP, BiPAP, AutoPAP and ASV therapy are treatments used for sleep disorder conditions that limit breathing capacity during sleep. Our Home Care Specialists can help assess your needs and provide the appropriate machine to fit your needs. We also carry a wide variety of masks such as full-face, gel nasal, nasal pillows and nasal masks. Also available are accessories to fit your unique situation and customize your sleep therapy.
CPAP Resupply Schedule:
- Monthly – Mask cushions and pillows, Disposable filters
- Every 6 Months – Masks, Headgear and chinstraps, Tubing (standard or heated), Non-disposable filters
Process:
- Visit your doctor. They will order a sleep test to see if you are getting enough oxygen while you sleep.
- If diagnosed with sleep apnea, an order will be sent to Midwest Family Health for a CPAP, AutoPAP, BiPAP or ASV.
- Once everything has been confirmed with your insurance, our on-staff registered nurse will fit you for a mask and show you how to use your new machine.

Home Oxygen Systems
Concentrators provide a safe and efficient way to improve the quality of life for individuals who require supplemental oxygen. Concentrators weigh less than 50 pounds and will be serviced and maintained by your home care provider, Midwest Family Health. We supply standard oxygen concentrators (1-5 liters per minute) as well as high-flow oxygen concentrators (up to 10 liters per minute) to meet your needs.
Portable Oxygen Therapy Concentrators
Our portable oxygen therapy concentrators allow you the freedom to go almost anywhere without the fear of running out of oxygen. Portable oxygen therapy tanks are ideal for patients who need to leave their homes on occasion. Tanks are lightweight and convenient to carry and are also easy to handle in tight spaces and doorways.
Pulse Oximetry
Pulse oximeters allow convenient monitoring of blood oxygen levels, at home or on the go. We also offer overnight oximetry testing to assess heart rate and occasionally your blood oxygen levels to determine if oxygen therapy is needed, screen for sleep apnea, or determine if prescribed treatment is working adequately.
Oxygen Safety Tips
- Notify local fire department, gas and electric companies, and telephone company when oxygen is started.
- Check to ensure smoke detectors are working properly.
- Keep oxygen at least 5-10 feet away from stoves, fireplaces, candles or any other sources of open flames.
- Avoid petroleum-based lotions and creams on the face and upper chest areas; for moisturizing dry nasal passages, use water-based products.
Aerosol Therapy
Aerosol Therapy uses a nebulizer or compressor that provides airpower to convert a physician-prescribed liquid medication into aerosol or mist, that is then inhaled into the lungs. Aerosol therapy helps manage and treat asthma, COPD and other respiratory conditions. To make treatment time more enjoyable for children, fun character masks and nebulizer units are available. Contact us if you have any questions.
